    Default ATV2 firmware update

    I just updated ATV2 to 4.1 firmware, how can I force it to download 4.2.1? it keeps saying that its up to date with fw 4.1

    There are some confusing numbering issues with the way that the ATV reports what iOS version it is running.

    You are on 4.2.1 already - just that anywhere you try and check this on the device itself you will be told it's 4.1.

    The ATV2 shipped with iOS 4.1 but reported that as 4.0 when you checked on the device. The 4.2.1 update seems like it has continued the same trend.
