I'm trying to install a couple of ATV-2's in my church lobby and I want total control over the menus offered up. I even want to delete the NHL from the menu to make the use very easy for non-tech folks. I want to limit the content (of course it's a church) to be just the photos of missionary folks we support sent from my internal MAC.

Would a Seas0nPass jailbreak allow me total control over what gets shown in the menus?

If you jailbreak it, you can certainly remove appliances from the main menu. There may not be an easy UI way to do it, but it can be done on the command line. If you want to restrict it to the photos appliance only, you can certainly do that.

Thanks for the feedback. I found Seas0nPass to jailbreak the device and the used Cyberduck to edit the appliance menu. Worked pretty well. I am now trying to dig into the photo appliance location to allow only it to show.
