how do you add volume control?

can this be done using a plug in?

what about trying to use AppleHDA.kext given by AppleTV?
or simply use AppleHDA then apply TARUGA Patcher by some codec dump for this audio card?

did this work for you or is this just a sugstion?

jsut wondering as i am a TOTAL noob when it comes to things like this.

i only asked this as a torrent on a certain PIRATE themed site listed volume support as being added.

I have to say that I'm in the same boat here as Matt... I have powered computer speakers connected directly to my Mac Mini, and a crappy old TV with no audio output, so if I want to adjust the volume I have to get up. What I've discovered is that by using a keyboard you can still use the volume keys to adjust the sound but that still entails walking to the TV.

I also have absolutely no experience with this sort of plug-in development but I'd be really really really happy if someone with the know-how could help us less fortunate out.

Same problem here. I used http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3665427/...YOUR_Mac_-_2.0 to setup AppleTV -Backrow on the internal disk of a Mac mini.

Everything is quite fine except for volume control and the screen resolution.
