USB and AFP are working, but...
I mentioned this in my other thread, but it's a bit far-removed from the initial topic that I decided to post a new one.
I finally got my 2TB external card to be detected by activating the USB port (somehow, forgot exactly what I did, it just kinda started working) and I've been playing music and movies off of it just fine. XBMC is indexing my music library right now, in fact.
However, when I open my Apple TV up in Finder, I cannot access the external drive. It just isn't there. I see OSBoot, Media, and frontrow. That's it. I can't read from or write to my Terrabyte drive, despite the fact that my hacked Apple TV can, and is currently using it.
How can I access the external drive from finder?
(On another note, can I attach a USB hub to my Apple TV at all, so that I can mount multiple drives to it, or use a flash drive, or something?)

It should be mounted under: /mnt/Scratch/Volumes/
nitoTV also symbolically links it under frontrow/Movies/
There have been reports of very large disks (4TB) not working - I understood 2TB did work though.

I see no folder called "mnt". Just "Media", "OSBoot" and "frontrow". I'm exploring some of the deeper ones now, but...as of yet, no dice.
I can access the drive just fine from the Apple TV, though.

this. any other format (FAT 32, NTFS) will NOT ever show through afp sharing. in general its a horrendous idea to use either of those formats on any mac product, mainly because if you suffer any data loss not a single mac tool will help you.
