I hope maybe one of you can help me. I have an AppleTV original model running OS 3.0.1 and have NitoTV 0.85 already installed, but want to update the firmware on the aTV to 3.0.2 and NitoTV to 0.95. I'm so confused on how to do this. Can someone with more knowledge then me point me in the right direction? Thanks.

SoftwareMenu has the ability to do a pre-pwned upgrade to 3.0.2

Also AtvPwn - AwkwardTV can do this from the comfort of your mac.

nitoTV has a built in updater.

The Software Menu does not work for some reason on my hacked aTV. What should I do to get it to work? (I'm a newbie to hacking). Thanks.

Software menu is difficult to get working on 3.0.x - the problem is that the auto update is broken in the version of software menu that is installed with most patchsticks. You need to manually update this via SSH.
