Total Noob Disaster
Have an ATV v2 and an iTunes folder on my local machine. Full sync set up. My local iTunes drive crashed and died. Now I have content on my ATV but not locally. Have already created a patchstick and have enabled SSH and am able to login using FileZilla. Here's the strange part. I can watch all of my tv shows and listen to all my music. But when i view the folders within ssh/filezilla I see nothing. I want to copy it all off the ATV and back to a local copy for backup purposes. What am i missing? Is it possible taht i'm not looking in the right spot? I'm looking under Users\frontrow and am logged in as that user...
Thanks in advance,
DFN

the media is stored in non-sensical file names in multiple needlessly convoluted folders on the /mnt (media) partition. you can copy them off but you will have to manually trudge through several folders and spot check every single file and rename them as needed to get your file collection back.
