I am having problems streaming 720p videos from my network which is a gigabit network. It seems that the video is too fast compared to the sound. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

if the video is high profile h.264 inside the file then you are SOL, the appletv won't even play it smoothly direct from its own hd. the processor is way too slow.

What do you suggest I do? Should I convert it to another format?

Download ImTOO MPEG Encoder and use that to convert to AppleTV HD format.

I have been using it for over a year now. Works excellent, plays all my movies in High Definition and no sync problems at all. PM me if you need.
