There used to be some old hacks for running it on Tiger (google for Front Row hack). Otherwise, there's a smaller version of it that comes with OS X if you have an Apple remote. Even better, install something like Plex, Boxee, or XBMC and you'll have support for every codec and media format under the sun in addition to live streaming from multiple sources. q.v. the sticky post in this form re "Back Row".
