    Default Rented Movies?

I'm assuming apple has some type of security in place for protecting against rented movie hacks? I'm guessing the entire movie is downloaded just like a purchase but how does apple protect against someone gaining access to the file system and copying the rented movie before it's deleted once the rented time expires?

Anyone explain how the whole process works?

    Thanks,

The movies are DRM-protected. So if they expire they're just garbage and can't be played anymore, unless you can "hack" DRM.
