Hi I know this has been answered many times before but here is one more. I am having problems with atvusb-creator I get an error half way through telling me something about a ten second wait and then failed. My system is a mid 2007 Imac running the latest OS X 10.8.2 and I have a 160 g atv 1 running the latest software. I have read on some other forums about going into Terminal and typing something but I haven't got a clue what part of terminal or what code, so could you please help out an old computer ignoramas many thanks Mick

you need run atvusb-creator as admin, so you can use Terminal to run the software.

Terminal:

sudo -s

passwordtype your password)

you can have right as admin to run atvusb-creator.

in the finder, find the atvsub-creator, right click the mouse and select contents, until you see macos, continue to the content, and then drag the atvusb-creator to the Terminal, then enter, it is ok!
