No sound with .avi & .mov files on AppleTV v3 w NitoTV 0.94
I have never succeeded in getting sound on .avi / .divx / .mov files on my AppleTV. I have recently installed AppleTV v3, with NitoTV 0.94, Perian and run Smart Installer to add extra things. I've also added AFP to access my NAS.
DVDs ripped w Handbrake (using the AppleTV export profile) & TV shows recorded with Elgato's eyeTV on my Mac play flawlessly, however divX files from the internet play with no sound. They play fine on the Mac in iTunes or with Quicktime.
I've tried the Apple TV Fooler applescript which made these videos visible when relying on iTunes, (no longer necessary with the AFP working properly through XMBC) but it hasn't helped with the audio.
My AppleTV is connected to my television via an HDMI cable, through a Yamaha VR-R367 amp, and I'm assuming that the sound is transmitted down the cable as sound works fine on some video.
I guess that I'm missing some Quicktime plug-in, but I thought that Perian would have fixed this - any suggestions ?
Thanks
