NitoTV Take 3

I have been hacking my apple TV lately. Got Boxee and XBMC working etc... I want to get my USB unlocked and I found instructions on how to download NitoTV. I basically have followed these to the letter. When I get to change directory it won't work. I obviously have downloaded not Take Two, but Take Three which I can see as teh SSH files download from Nito's website. When I go to change the directory to nitoTV Take THree I get the no such file or directory. What am I doing wrong. I have only used SSH a little but am comfortable following instuctions like these.

Can anyone help?

Pulled the trigger too soon. I figured it out. But, any advice where to learn more about how to use Boxee, XBMC, Nito TV. I am trying to learn about how to best store all my movies to use on AppleTV without having to use iTunes.

Thanks so much. I did finally last night get the directory to change and got everything loaded up. Now the one problem I am having is when I go to load up the Smart Installer App to unlock my USB I get an error as follows.

Kind of a bummer. I want to unlock that USB. I am learning the world of Hack is the way to go. I want to be able to hook up a hard drive or something to extend the memory of my Apple TV so I don't have to store all of these movies on my computer. Can my Apple TV pull movies off of my Time Capsule if I store them there?

my apple tv is running 3.0.1 and i've hacked with patchstick.

On the tech level you seem more advanced than me - I can't even figure out how to install NitoTV Take 3 as the very first step is - "To install it, you will need to copy this folder to your AppleTV." OK, but how does one do that - a Mac won't see the hard disk! I have no clue how to copy folders to anywhere over WLAN using terminal!!! Any REAL DUMMIES guide out there for this? LOL

Anyway, I've installed the atv-usbcreator on an Apple TV 3.0.1 and have Boxee and XBMC running great. To avoid having to go through iTunes Sync, all you have to do is enable File Sharing on your media folder, then navigate to it in XBMC (or Boxee too I think?)... I'm using XBMC because it can play Video_TS folders, so I don't have to convert the format of every single title in my archive. If you wanted to convert everything to M4V however then they will play in both Boxee and XBMC. In my case, I've dedicated an external 1TB Firewire HD connected to my Mac for streaming via WLAN to the Apple TV. It's working great!

OK I figured it out for myself and got the NitoTV Take Three folder onto my Apple TV FrontRow directory using CyberDuck FTP.

So I typed the first command got but rejected -

TYPED IN TERMINAL - ssh -1 frontrow@appletv.local

RESPONSE - Protocol major versions differ: 1 vs. 2

Is my AppleTV address something other than this? How do I find it?

take out the -1

i have tryed all the ways and this is the one that i got the farthest..

its driving me nuts..ATV 2 4.0 jailbreaked..
