i have a 160 gig hd thats been formatted as i tried to reimage it but that didnt work so i bought a new appletv 160 and taken the h/d out of it and now want to know the best way to copy the h/d using a mini mac?
any ideas?

If you have an external usb or firewire drive you can mount it and use copycat (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/mo...007&vid=199624)
or superduper (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDup...scription.html) to clone it.
