AppleTV newbie: Amule & Multi-Tasking?

Hi,
I'm newbie in AppleTv enviroment.

I'd like to buy a Green "24h on" download PC/MAC in order to download everything from the internet (amule and torrent) and something that can play h264 video to my TV.
Since I don't like to buy any "nettop" like Asus EEEBOX or something like ION Platform, Can ATV do everything I wrote? Also in multitasking mode (like downloading and playing video together?

Install OSX 10.5.8
Install BCM70012 or BCM70015 if you can get your hands on one.

Works a treat :)

i agree with everything except installing 10.5 on the appletv.

Is available inside a slot to install it? Should I remove the wifi card to put it?
