Hi,
I ordered an e-sata kit (cable to attach an ext. drive to ATV) from applecoreonline.
The guy I am in contact with is Brock Patrick.
Does anybody know this outfit, any experiences?
Reason why I am asking, I was provided tracking info for my shipment, when used it only states USPS was electronically notified they would get a shipment....I also don't get any reaction on the fact i can't login to their manuals site using the credentials they provided.
Could I be ripped off for a mere $50?
To be fair, tracking via USPS sucks. I've seen cases where the tracking stated that the shipping info had been received and nothing else even days after it was delivered.
AppleCore is responsible for the AppleTV and More plugin, and in the process of promoting this POS, they took credit for the work of others, violated software licenses, and even insulted developers of plugins they use. So, it could very well be that they are really scamming you.
Just have to wait and see which it is I guess.
I received the goods from Applecoreonline in good order.
Will now proceed to build my 2TB AppleTV, finally room for movies :)
I am happy all turned out well, one never knows who your'e dealing with. Have had some 'surprises' in the past!:fail
