Another noob question - Firefox (or Chrome) on ATV
Hi,
Just got an ATV (160Gb version), installed Boxee / XBMC using the instructions / files from atvusb-creator - Project Hosting on Google Code.
Since Boxee's browser is a sad joke at best, I was wondering if it's possible to install firefox / chrome / safari on the ATV box.
Saw the entry @ awkardTV (Firefox - AwkwardTV), but it seems to my newbie eyes that they're using some other sort of ATV hack, and some of the files / directories mentioned there don't exist on my box.
Am I missing something?
Is there an updated / better source?
The underlying reason for the need for browser is some kids videos sites (e.g. Go, Diego, Go! Episodes & Video Clips | Go, Diego, Go! | Nick Jr.), so a solution to that can make the firefox question irrelevant.
TIA,
Seems like I have Software Menu

I was going to suggest you install the overflow frappliance but the site for it seems to be down.
My second suggestion is to install software menu (not so easy to get working on 3.0.2 - it caused me many restores). These both allow hiding of frappliances, which might help you find the "missing" nitoTV.
But I believe this is part of the ATV hack - I haven't install it myself.
The other one, LaunchMore!, is something I added, but it's not working.
I hid some of the frappliances (mainly the Apple TV video / movies).
I have a screen capture, but the forum only allows 19.5k and even zipped it's 114k.
