NitoTV will not install on my ATV
I had to reset my Apple TV to the original Factory Settings, then do a reinstall of the usb patchstick hack. I have Apple TV 2.4.
Now, I cannot get NitoTV to install. I keep getting an error message. Everything else works flawlessly, the ATV programs, Boxee, XMBC, Couch Surfer, etc... But NitoTV will not install. AND IT IS MY FAVORITE! In my opinion, NitoTV is the greatest addition to the Apple TV on the market.
Does anyone have any ideas of what is wrong and how I can get NitoTV installed?
Thanks.
Doug

Hi Nito, t
Thanks for the reply and trying to help. I am installing NitoTV by (1) selecting software menu; (2) selecting third party plugins; and (3) install Nito TV.
The error message has a Yellow Triangle Symbol, and a message that reads: An error occurred, Pres Play/Pause to restart your Apple Tv.
Any ideas? I really miss NitoTV.
Thanks.

Yeh not sure what would be causing that, the only thing i can think of is downloading it and manually installing it on your own
http://nitosoft.com/nitoTVInstaller_tt.zip
unzip and scp the resulting folder over to your AppleTV
scp -1 -r nitoTV\ Take\ Two frontrow@appletv.local:~/
(-1 is only necessary if ssh protocol 1 is installed, via something like OpenSSH, otherwise you can ignore the -1)
then ssh in and run sudo ./installme from within the nitoTV Take Two folder.
best i can think of really, not sure why SoftwareMenu would be having trouble.

Edit/Delete Message
Guys it worked. Probably it was something related to where Nito hosts its files, which could be temporarilly down, nothing to do with 2.4 or software menu. Now it is installed, thanks.
