Default Need help or right direction to a website/forum to install Game emulators

    Hello everyone,

My uncle is coming down next week from his current tour in the army and I wanted to do something nice for him, I had bought an apple tv 1 many years ago and I already jb it so it can use XBMC on it, but I wanted to know how to install emulators on it? I heard you can install nitotv on it that would allow to install emulators, but if I do that would it erase XBMC from it? I only ask is because I don't know how the Apple tv fully works and I don't want to erase XBMC, but my follow up question is, if anyone does have emulators running in XBMC within Apple TV how can I install the emulators so they can work in XBMC, I found a site that says to SSH into apple tv but it sounds like they're running the SSH from either Linux or apple itself, I don't have a mac so I don't know if the commands could be done from the PC.

    Any help would be helpful

    Thank you

Installing NitoTV doesn't remove XBMC. Just as in the ATV menu you see an entry for XBMC, you'll have another one for NitoTV. You can install it from here:
nitoTV 0.7.0 released, leopard support, photo tweaks, add rss ui + more

SSH is built into Linux and the Mac, but a certain popular inferior OS (Windows) has a decent client called Putty that can be downloaded separately. The username/password is frontrow/frontrow.

id forget about xbmc, unless u want to install openelec or crystalbuntu... as u cant update xbmc thru nito tv to frodo 12.1, go the openelec route, at openelec.tv, and then u can search out the ways to do the emulators, it will work way better under frodo 12.2
