noticed this strange problem last night while watching a film on my hacked ATV1.
I could see in dark sceanes what looked like flashing dead pixels in several places on the screen now i know its not the tv so i assume the ATV is playing up so i tried a few more and the flashing pixels are there aswell.

also in one movie which was quite large around 2.5GB about half way through it started this slight freeze around every three seconds hardly noticable but there. im thinking it a was a buffering issue the file was very good quality but still only AVI. which should play smoothly even if i dont have a cyrstal HD card installed

I was going to upgrade my ATV with the broadcom card but maybe im throughing good money after bad?
