I have posted this on other places to see if anyone would say - "Hey dumbass, that won't work!" But no one has told me that.... yet.... so I am posting here...

I just ordered my AppleTV as well as EyeTV250 and a USB HUB.

My goal is to get AppleTV to boot from OSX and install FrontRow or possibly some other Media Center and EyeTV and create a AppleTivo.

Based on all the information I have read, this should work.... I think...

I need to know what USB HD I should get for the External drive on the AppleTV since I plan on booting from that drive only and not using my internal drive unless someone thinks I should mod the internal OS.

I am also going for the IR Blaster hardware and software so my AppleTivo can change my DirecTV channels... Hope there aren't any issues there...

I could make it easy on me and just get a MacMini... but naaaa...

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know..
