Are you able to change screen resolution? Does the video card work properly?
I once tried this with tiger, and got it working so far. The only problems were the sound and the video. Sound was not working at all. And it was not possible to change the sreen resolution. Sometimes i even had no video output at all.

Yes I am able to change the screen resolution and get everything working. I am at the highest resolution which is 1440 x 900
EDIT: I am using a HDMI -> DVI into a regular LCD monitor.

I think many of the naysayers have solely been saying (me being one of them) that yeh it might be possible but all the effort is going to yield something that runs like crap.

I have been using it for about 4 hours now and yes it's no new imac but then again I only paid $160 for it. It makes a fine box for running things like, firefox, safari, mail, chat, terminal, itunes etc.
I never said it was a powerhouse or anything but to say it runs like crap is ones opinion and is circumstantial.

if thats all you want it for then yes it should be sufficient, but if you want it as an actual computer that does more than remedial tasks then it wont make the cut.

For $150 it does way more than expected.
by the naysayers comment i was just proving it can be done. There were a lot of people when i was researching how to do it that just said it couldn't be done because of the ram. Well thats not the case because im using it right now.
I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just trying to post up what I did and how I did it.

Very nice. I'd like to see a complete write up on your method so I can play too.
