Default Just got my first ATV - Need some help

Good evening. Long time lurker, first time poster here.

So I caved in and bought one of the fancy 1TB ATVs preloaded with XBMC, Boxee, etc. I get the streaming aspect of it, but I'd like to load the box up with video (AVIs in particular) so I can watch them on other TVs.

From browsing around, I get that I need to use SSH to get into the system. I was able to log in using frontrow with Putty (I'm still on XP/7) but from there, I have no idea what to do.

I've looked around the web for walkthroughs but found nothing. Somebody on another forum suggested I install something called NitoTV but, like I said, I'm a total n00b with this gadget.

Would somebody be kind enough to give me a hand?

    Welcome!

using MAC you may want to look for CyberDuck to help you with that. and if you're using windows you can consider WinSCP.
