    Default installing firefox

I have a laptop runing windows Vista
I downloaded firefox.dmg and used UltraISO to extract the Firefox.app folder. I FTP the Firefox.app folder to the frontrow applications folder on the ATV. I reboot the ATV and go to the applications menu, i see the firefox icon, i click on it to install and the screen goes black, nothing happens. I want to install firefox, what iam i doing wrong.
Can someone please shed some light on this problem.
    Thanks

What "application menu" plugin do you use? Just because you copied the Firefox.app to your Application folder on the appletv, this does not mean, that you have a new entry in the AppleTV main menu.
You either can use nitoTV, SoftwareMenu, or LaunchMore to start apps. These plugins do everything for you. No need for scripts.
Before you can use firefox to surf the web, you've to use the nitoTV's smart installer to setup to setup your mouse and some other important stuff.

Just browse the awkwardtv-wiki: LaunchMore - AwkwardTV

Same here..script worked well..but flash doesn't work (I am at ver 2.3). I tried manually re-installing the latest flash plug in..same result..flash content will not play. I wonder if it ATV ver specific?

Flash works for me. I just started Firefox and navigated to youtube.com. Then the "install plugin" message appeard and I was redirected to the adobe flash site.
If this doesn't work, try to manually go to Adobe Flash Player and download the installer. This should work!

The script will not work on the first time you use Flash on the browser, but after you first load a page that has Flash content you need to reboot, and them it will work.
