Default How does Front Row get started?

I have ATV4Mac running on my Mac Mini, and have it auto-launching at boot time. What I've noticed though is that when I press the Menu button on the remote the first time, it launches a second copy of Front Row.

Does anyone know what mechanism it is that takes the first Menu keypress and launches FrontRow, and maybe how to stop it?

    Thanks!

first menu press is not faked.
Normally one of the last things OSX boots is the Finder app.
You replaced your Finder with frontrow.

So frontrow boots instead of Finder at the end of OSX boot process.

But when you press 'menu' frontrow boots as well (again) like it would normally do.

Because Finder is replaced with frontrow, you can try to disable frontrow as an app (try deleting it) and now there is nothing to launch when you press the 'menu' key.

ps. Remember that you dont have a Finder to use. Try booting with 'T' and hook your macmini to your other mac with a firewire cable.

Nope, Front Row is Front Row, and Finder is in tact. Front Row is launched when the default user auto-logs in.

I guess I could rename Front Row to something else, then the menu press won't launch the app.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
