Had OS X running on aTV until I selected my drive in the startup pref - advice?
I had OS X 10.4.9 running quite nicely off an external drive. Then I selected that drive as the startup disk in the system prefs and now i can't boot off the drive anymore.
I tried restoring to default settings, no luck. However, my patchstick did boot just fine. Also, I can ssh into the machine.
I can't see anything on the external drive - which is to be expected. I tried examining the drive with gpt and this is what it showed me -
gpt -r show /dev/disk1
start size index contents
0 1 PMBR
1 1 Pri GPT header
2 32 Pri GPT table
40 409600 1 GPT part - C12A7328-F81F-11D2-BA4B-00A0C93EC93B
409640 233769824 2 GPT part - 5265636F-7665-11AA-AA11-00306543ECAC
234441615 32 Sec GPT table
234441647 1 Sec GPT header
Everything looks good to me!
So, any advice? Or do I have to start over?

To clarify - the aTV seems to take a brief look at the drive and immediately starts booting off of the internal drive. Straight to the white apple on black.
