My EyeTV 3.0.3 (4027) works fine with the 10.4.10 Combo Update.

I finally was able to install and work with EyeTV 3.0.3 (4027).
But everytime i restart AppleTV the first time I run EyeTV it asks me for frontrow password.
Does this happens to you too?
    Any workaround for this?

I use to shut down AppleTV everyday because I use it for only two hours a day and it does not really sleep.

    Thank you

    No, it doesn't.

Hmm ... maybe writing for the root partition ( sudo mount -uw / ) was not enabled during the installation (EyeTV installs some configurations for itself).
Try to make the root partition writeable once ( sudo mount -uw / ) before running EyeTV, also turn off automatic updates in the EyeTV settings and check the directory for the EyeTV Recordings as well as the Timeshift-Buffer (I'm using 10 MB in RAM).

I use to shut down AppleTV everyday too and both works fine, the AppleTV and the EyeTV.

I had enabled writing while installing (thats why it worked this time and also automatic updates is turned off.
Live TV buffer is set at 2000 Mb (not in ram of course) because I often use the pause for long time (sometimes more than half an hour).
Archive location is: /Media/Scratch/Users/frontrow/Documents (default location), is it the same for you?

    Message for authenticate request:
Administrator access is required to install a component of the EyeTv software ...
The details for frontrow password request is:
    Requested right: system.privilege.admin

    Thank you for your help!

BTW I also noticed a slight audio/video out of sinc ...
