Hello all,

After some struggles I managed to installed AFP services on my hacked ATV 1. When I try to connect to afp://appletv.local from my Mac, I see three volumes listed frontrow, Media, OSBoot.

My question is how how can create a new volume on the ATV that will appear in this list? This might be a really dumb question, but I can't figure it out!!

What volume are you wanting to add? OSBoot and Media are the two mounted disk partitions, and frontrow is frontrow's home directory. If you connect any USB disks, they will show up in the list as well. Everything should be accessible from the listed disks. What needs to be added?

Thanks for getting back to me. I'd like to be able to mount a specific directory, call it xDIR. I can create this directory anywhere, I really don't care where it is in the file structure. The reason I want to do this is because I am trying to make this dummy proof for my family. Mount one volume, and that contains everything they need, without having to navigate through other directories.
