I got the analog outputs working in OS X on an aTV with this method. Did not try the digital ones. Keyboard controls all work fine. Who knows how to get the remote to control volume. And how does one fold this back into the normal aTV?

has anyone gotten the HDMI audio codec working? I go to drop it onto the program to install it and it gives me an error, says exiting (or something like that) and a nice little face

Trying to get the RCA audio working and that codec did install but I have not played around to see if it worked.

I have analog audio installed via AppleHDAPatcher_v_1.15 and the codec0 file (Realtek ALC885). However, the analog audio output level is very low even with output volume set to max. I'm using the "Internal Speakers" sound output device as this is the only one which seems to be active.

Has anyone else run into this?

My digital out works, but stutters like hell (making it unlistenable).

I have optical audio working now, not stuttering.

Okay, optical audio works, but it stutters when starting up. If I run one sound and try to play another over it (play an mp3 and try to empty trash), the first sound cuts out, and then the second stutters before the first cuts back in.

I also have the analog audio out working but the level is so low I have to turn the TV all the way up and only then did I realize it worked... so Nosix you aren't the only one

I stand corrected. I have the "stuttering audio at the start of sounds" problem also on my digital output.

Also, I had EyeTV working and passthrough of AC-3 5.1 to the optical output works on 720p streams from ABC, but EyeTV repeatedly Kernel Panics OS X when I try to pass through 5.1 AC-3 on 1080i streams from NBC.
