Windows probably not- 10.6 possibly but totally not worth it, the specs of the appletv are atrocious and if you are thinking about using it as a mini computer i would NOT recommend it.

in your appletv? okay that makes it SLIGHTLY less terrible. why would you waste money on something as expensive as a solid state drive in something as cheap with as crappy specs as an atv? if you are going to pony up for a ssd why would you waste your time with an atv as a computer? :baffled:

You can also make one for cheap with 2 cf cards and a 2.5 adapter.

In short - none. Don't forget that even if you'll become one of few who was lucky to make it somehow work, the number of features will never work. Worthless waste of time. I hate the day I bought this B.S. called ATV, should have spend about $300 more and get Mini, but got trapped by these threads alleging one can convert ATV in to computer. What a joke. Now browsing internet in desperate hope to recover original ATV OS, which is also next to impossible. None of the scenarios to recover original ATV OS offered on this site, worked for me. Ended up with having $250 brick for about a year now.
