Hey folks, new to the apple tv jail breaking / hacking scene and having a few issues. Picked up a 160gb ATV 1st gen cheap and installed XMDB via ATV patchstick creator on win 7, enabled SSH etc at the same time and all was well. System rebooted and XMDB (Eden) works beautifully however I keep getting an error - "Error: Cannot launch XBMC/Boxee from path: (can't rem the path). So I attempted to follow a guide to install boxee via SSH. I'm able to get into my box using puTTY however when i do so most SSH commands (apt-get etc) state "command not found". I'm unsure where to go with this as I can't for the life of me find a solution anywhere online. Has anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong? And can anyone tell me how to fix boxee?

apt-get and such commands are for ATV2, not 1. Make sure you are following the correct guide.
