and easy to transfer to my hard drive

1. download apple's firewire sdk
2. get the mpeg2 component for quicktime
3. pull the HD from your set-top with the fcc-mandated firewire port
4. run the .m2t stream through MPEG streamclip to convert to DV
5. edit commercials out
6. export to appletv format in QT
7. profit!
