i was just wondering if there is anyway to automount ntfs hardrives and access them using nito on ATV software 3.0.1 ?? or should i downgrade to 2.something as some people stated that ntfs can be automatically mounted on it .

ntfs and the appleTV is generally a BAD idea.

Apple's support for NTFS is read-only and patchy.

I don't care if its buggy , I need to be able to only read films from ntfs USB , I know it can be done somehow cause I can read and write normally on my mac using paragon ntfs and I think ntfs3G and macfuse can be installed on the ATV , I think nothing can go wrong as long as I am only reading movies using nito browser

nothing can go wrong.. read only support will not corrupt anything.

I wouldn't play with ntfs3g and macfuse on the apple tv.

You should be able to get it to work. However, my advice still stands, you're on a mac (even if it is a set top box) - NTFS is not a first class citizen on the mac. It never will be because it is closed source and Apple won't license the source from MS. Third party solutions for a closed source filesystems are always a risk.
