Hi,

I need some help.

I started with a perfectly working patched 3.0.x system with nitoTV internal and external USB HDD.

then plugged in a new 1.5TB HDD with FAT32 replacing the old one - it was mounted under /Volumes but shown as empty (which it isnt)

I then unmounted it and rebooted a couple of times
installed ATVFfiles and upgraded to latest nitoTV and tried some more

now when it boots it shows the Apple logo and then the animated startup but then the screen stays blank

it responds to ping but not to ssh

resolution changing via Menu - or going into diag with Menu + also works fine

It seems to respond to the remote - i.e. I get the click sound when I press the buttons

I dont really want to do a factory restore since there is unsaved data on the internal HDD

any ideas ?

forgot that I also ran SmartInstaller again - didnt do much since it had it already properly ran with a good OS.dmg

tried the patchstick with the LSOD fix

kinda worked - but now I do get the LSOD

since I still cant ssh in I guess my best way now to remove the drive and attach it to an Apple so that I can at least copy my data off it

then choose recovery or maybe go atvdrive

any recommendations ?
