I've read the thread about VLC installation on ATV. unlike to start each movie by command line I was thinking about if the file association for some suffixes could be changed?
some mpeg4 movies (not H.264 encoded) aren't playable with qt/perian and to avoid a manual start of VLC it would be nice to associate the files directly with another player!
any hints???
