Default [AppleTV] Capturing HD rentals ?

So I was just wondering if there was any way to capture iTunes HD rentals from your aTV as they are playing? Probably a hardware method would work, an HD graphic card with HD inputs, but what about software, like a program right on the aTV?

I tried that and all I could find were apple tv video converters, which is not what I want. Granted I'm no Google expert but I did spend several days searching, so I think I'm justified in creating this post....

    And thanks for the help.

How is that recording HD dude? WTF is wrong with you people, if he wanted it in standard def, he'd rent the standard def, hell, he'd pirate it. He wants to capture the HD rental AS HD.

This needs to be done on the fly on the appletv itself, I mean we've done all this crap to it already how hard would it be to make a program that does screen shots at some 25 times a second at 1080i and then reassembles them into an HD video, then again that is probably beyond the processing capabilities of the ATV CPU... *sigh*

First there is no cheap extra hardware solution to do this.
The software solution is called a crack to remove/bypass the DRM in and it is not tolerated here.

    Thanks for your understanding.
