Can you use the Appletv bought from the US ie amazon.com and use that one in the uk as i think im right that its 110/250 allready?

Yes you can, same box, same hardware. You only need to change the plug to your wonderful UK mini plug
If you plan to have it sent to you, you could have to pay the import duties....
don't know what UK costs would be, I had to pay 50 euro in the Netherlands for mine.

I know.. what I do is I have my own us forward address and it cost me $40 to get it sent to me and when i order it from amazon.com I tell them its a gift and not put the cost and on the message I put.
