It's a valid question, I have been trying for some days..

You need to port the T2 "finder" (rename it front row) and it's dependencies to your OS X 10.5.2. (I am using the 2Z694-5274-109.dmg as source for my T2 files)

I so far could only generate a black screen (whoopy..) while starting up front row.
No apps start, so that is a fail (previous attempts didn't even start front row however..)

I used 0xED to edit the T2 back row and T2 front row binaries so I could have "double" private frameworks (eg. renamed the back row framework to back raw).
This so I could at least start normal, and the only thing crashing would be the imported stuff.

But being new to Mac (just more then a month now), I really don't know a lot of the system, it's more guessing how it could work and trying stuff out.
not having a decent disassembler/debugger like the windows version of ida pro is a miss also. (copieing files to my windows box and disassembling them one by one is a tedious task..)

I guess I missed some stuff, and have to recheck it all over..
But I believe it's possible (and for someone with apple skills probably even easy )

    very interesting topic....

i guess we would definitely be in need for a patched take2-finder....

perhaps any of the pro members here can patch it...

    all the best...

Bump! My Macbook Pro's screen is toast, so I want to use it hooked up to my TV at home after I get a new machine. This would be great.
