Default apple tv and itunes on different vlans

    HI,

I just wonder if there is any way to make itunes see apple tv if they are on different vlans?

and is there any way to change multicast ip address that appletv uses?

    Thanx!

iTunes sees AppleTVs on it's LAN, so no.

You've got this completely wrong. The AppleTV doesn't use multicast. Perhaps you should learn what a LAN broadcast is first, because that's what it uses.

    Yo dude, thanx for reply!
The only question is, why when i plug in appletv to the switch, and do some pqcket snifing from that interface it shows me a link-local multicast address originating from that interface with ttl of 1 ?
