Default apple tv alpine password problem

hi ive got a apple tv 1st gen and for some reason the alpine password will not work, is there anyway to reset it?

I've factory reset the apple tv and re-cracked it using https://code.google.com/p/atvusb-creator/
but im still have no joy

I have tried accessing it via terminal and cyberduck, changing the ip for appletv.local but no luck and the weird thing is it used to work!!

    any help would be fantastic

Try connecting with Ethernet cable, set up ethernet connection in Atv, and try ssh again..

Hello, respect to the problem: for the Apple TV 1G password alpine for root user dosnīt work, you try to use the command sudo. Root user is use in the Appe Tv 2G (operative System iOS). If you need more help about sudo command read the next site Linux and UNIX sudo command help

You need to use frontrow instead of root and then frontrow for your password as well
