    Default Anyone know how to undelete files from factory restored ATV?

    Yes - I did a Factory Restore of my hacked ATV without backing up a bunch of movie files. I now have a ATV 3 with ATVFlash access afp etc., but an empty media/movie folder and lots of free space. Short of removing the hard drive, is there anyway I can undelete, file salvage, data rescue from this drive ?

    First rule of data recovery, don't install any software or make any changes to a disk you are trying to recover.

    You really will have best success by removing the disk, attaching it to USB-ATA adaptor and trying something like Data Rescue running on a 10.5+ Mac
