[Advice] Using Remote.app support under take 1/1.1

Hi,

I refuse to upgrade to take2 mostly due to the graphic interface, I like it a lot better, I'm now running 1.1 after safe update.

Is it possible to install the newly released remote app?/fr.appliance? under take 1?

I don't think so, at least not without any working on sources.
It's a totally new feature that AFAIK hasn't been integrated in the previous releases

There is a new infrared firmware update in tak 2.1. So this will indeed not work.
Maybe if you install that firmware ... but don't ask how to do that.
