Default [Advice] TorrentFlux-b4rt working on ATV

Hey just reporting that I got torrentflux-b4rt to work without much hacking. The reason I chose torrentflux-b4rt vs. regular torrentflux is it uses a non-python based torrent client. I'll post more details later but essentially you need:

    1. Get MAMPP working (Apache + MySQL package for OSX - part of XAMPP) - there is a great tutorial on the wiki

    2. Install some binary's missing but needed by the atv (nohup, grep, du come to mind but there are a few others).

    3. Compile the transmission cli included inside the TorrentFlux-b4rt on your mac (you have to get rid of the macosx check inside the make file since no xcode project file is included) and then copy transmissioncli binary to /usr/local/bin

    4. Then just copy the htdocs folder from the torrentflux bzip to your htdocs for MAMMP and start apache. Then just follow the install guide.

Web interface works perfectly. Now my ATV downloads torrents over night from a easy to manage interface :-)

Anybody any updates/info on this ?

Am going to embark on this project myself as well, have a AppleTV 2.0 out of the box (so missing some binaries some others have on their ATV)

Will update this post if I manage to succeed w/ my information, but any help in advance is welcome

    OK,

Not really working with torrents (as I haven't access to a Mac computer to compile transmissioncli), but I DO have it working with wget injection.

If anybody can provide me with the build for latest transmissioncli from torrentflux-b4rt (note: beta2 has just been released), I'll be happy to test that and add that to my notes/tutorial

Using my easynews account, I can now directly download .avi's etc. onto my AppleTV

Very quick overview of my notes can be found at http://wiki.awkwardtv.org/wiki/TorrentFlux-b4rt

And just to let you know, I also have compiled transmissioncli, so now my AppleTV & TorrentFlux-b4rt are folly working together, downloading torrents & direct links.

    See http://wiki.awkwardtv.org/wiki/TorrentFlux-b4rt for more info.

Is there a easier tutorial for this? I have been trying the steps in wiki, but I don't have any success with it!
