10.5, NitoTV & enabling USB AFP (and even than, via Airport)?
Hello.
This question is in two parts. First off, if I'm running 10.5 and I install NitoTV Take 2 on an Apple TV (ATV Software 2.1), and if I have the 10.4.9 Intel update & recovery.dmg file in the documents folder, when running the Smart Installer will I have any issues enabling USB *and* AFP? I know there are some issues around enabling AFP under 10.5?
And the second part*— assuming I get the first part going, will I be able to connect to the ATV/USB drive via Airport, or will it only work via Ethernet?
Thanks!
k.

1) yes it will install afp and enable usb.
2) in theory that should work (hooking up a hd to usb on airport), i havent tried it personally because i generally just have the hd's im sharing hooked up to other macs on the network (or other appletv's) and i can connect to those just fine. (wireless 80211g network)

Thanks — I should be getting the ATV this week, so can't wait to give it a shot!
