More Infos:
If the Absinthe webclip shows “Error establishing a database connection”, please go to Settings, turn on VPN and wait instead.

- Toggle VPN only AFTER Absinthe says it’s done, or it will not work.
- VPN SHOULD error and then reboot soon. If it does not, rerun Absinthe!

If you get a strange problem, we advise you to restore your iPhone with iTunes, if you can (i.e. if you’re not on 5.0 waiting for an eventual 4S unlock).

Here is a small CLI tool (cinject 0.4.2), you shouldn't use this if you don't know 100% what you want to do. If you don't, use Absinthe.

I do not believe a windows version has been released of the absinthe tool yet.

jailbreak matrix supposedly has the windows version but the link has been overloaded ever since its been put up

has anyone tried using absinthe on a mac virtual machine, on windows?

Have tried it now and seems to be working to use on a mac virtual machine, on windows, I do not have an A5 device now but absinthe recognized my iPhone and said the attached device is not supported. So I presume since is recognizing the iPhone it may work to jailbreak the A5 device on windows. Here is a printhscreen

I have a 4s, with 5.0.1, and when I attempt to run the program (having already connected my device) it says "The application Absinthe quit unexpectedly."

Relaunching doesn't fix anything--did I do something wrong? Heh, I'd assume not, as I only extracted the zip and tried to run the program?
