Only minor quibbles are the X in the battery indicator and a sometimes laggard trackpad. I don't have a Track Pad panel in System Preferences for some reason, and I thought I was supposed to with 10.5.7. It works, mind you, but sometimes it stops and then jumps elsewhere on the screen when I'm trying to zero in on a button to click. Slightly annoying but not a dealbreaker.
I'm going to SuperDuper my setup to an external drive later. I'd like to try going to 10.5.8 again, but I'm leery of hitting that video problem from last time. Maybe it'll be better now that I'm at 10.5.7 and not 10.5.5 from which I tried last time. Wing's 10.5.8 instructions say to just do all kexts again from his instuctions...so can someone confirm that?
The steps are:
1. Update to 10.5.8 and reboot. Video will be 800x600 again.
2. Apply VoodooPS2Controller kext.
3. Restart.
4. Install all kexts according to wingzero's instructions.
=So follow the steps that have to do with kexts only?
Would this mean also applying the Ethernet fix and Bluetooth fix that
aren't part of the essentials package?
I know this is brazenly cowardly of me to wait for confirmation, but hey, I'm like that.

@calibre97: Go ahead and post your exact steps. This way, others can follow alternate methods. Glad to see you're up and running on 10.5.7. Still weird you are having a problem with the trackpad. You apply all kexts for the video except for the GMA950.kext. Leave that one out. Hope this helps.
