Default Can an iPhone bought in Japan be unlocked to work in the US?
My gf bought an iPhone 3G while she was back in Japan for awhile (purchased last October). She will be moving back to the US soon, and I am wondering if the iPhone she bought wont be a waste, and if there is a way I can make it work in the states? She has softbank over in Japan, and ATT over here in the States.

Is this possible in any way? Thanks in advance.
