So I am looking at an eBay auction. The seller says the phone worked perfectly (it is a 2g - firmware not specified), but he tried to unlock it and now "However when i unlocked it the wifi and the bluetooth as well as the phone portion of the phone quit working." (in his words). He said he did not restore it after this. This should be easy to fix, right? (I don't have an iPhone so I don't know a whole lot, but from reading threads here I'm guessing one would restore with fresh firmware, and then unlock again? Will this work?) I'm just trying to figure before I bid on it.

I searched for this problem on here, but I didn't get any results.
