Does this work for the late 2008 unibody MacBook line?
@ DHL & iamse7en

I dont have one to try. I have seen reports that the 2008 unibody MacBook line usese the kext we now find in 10.5.6.
I guess it is possible to make DFU mode working there with the programm - BUT: I am not sure, cant test it.

If one of you wants to give it a shot, let us know.

You will be at you own risk, we had no chance trying it!!!

If one wants to test it:
The programm creates a new folder on your Desktop where it places the two original files before applying the 10.5.5 ones. make a copy of them in a safe place.

there should be two ways back if it aint work:

If you replace the two kext files in the folder where the automator programm sits with the two from the backup and run the app again, you'll get back the originals - after a restart.

second would be to download the combo update 10.5.6 from Apples site and install it. this would bring the system back to normal status.
