Hi, I decided to give this BIOS mod a shot on my HP Media Center m8307c PC ( IBIPL-LB mobo ) as I wanted to get Leopard working on all 4 cores. I did manage to get Kaly 10.5.2 working before but only when using cpus=1. This mod did the trick and I was able to install leopard easily ( tried IAKTOS 4.1 this time ) and Leopard recognizes all 4 cores finally. Thank you!

I've installed Leopard to its own hard drive to keep it separate from my Vista installation. Everything seems to be working great except for one problem, the integrated LAN adapter ( Realtek RTL8168/8111 ) does not work anymore in either OSX or Vista. In both OS's it's recognized and there are no problems detected, however, I just can't get an IP from my router or if I plug it in directly to the cable modem. In Vista, I get the "limited connectivity" error for example. I'm not sure if this BIOS mod was expecting a different integrated LAN adapter. I may try flashing to HP's latest BIOS for my specific model to see if that fixes the problem with LAN, however, I'd really like to keep the functionality this mod provided. It might be worth buying a separate LAN adapter for this purpose. However, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if there's a work around to get the Realtek ethernet adapter working properly after doing this flash.
